Steven J. Pollock Named President of Doral Dental USA
Mequon, WI, - Doral Dental USA, one of the nation’s largest dental benefit service companies, has announced that Steven J. Pollock has been named President. Pollock most recently served as Chief Operating Officer at Doral. Doral is the nation’s leading administrator of government dental programs, currently serving more than seven million members in 16 states.
Doral is a subsidiary of Boston-based DentaQuest Ventures, Inc. As one of the nation’s largest benefits administrators exclusively focused on dental benefits, DentaQuest is uniquely committed to improving the oral health of all our constituents. Through commercial and government programs, DentaQuest now manages dental benefits for more than nine million members throughout the United States.

Pollock has served the organization in an executive capacity since 1999, when he joined the company as a Vice President and General Counsel. In 2000, he was named Vice President of Market Development and in 2004, he was named Chief Operating Officer. In those capacities, Pollock had oversight of client relationships, provider networks and day-to-day operations of the company, helping the organization consistently exceed financial and growth goals.

An attorney and Certified Public Accountant, Pollock brings more than 15 years experience in managed care to Doral. Previously, he provided managed care contracting services for a major healthcare insurer, and also served as a consultant on the legal and business aspects of managed care transactions and licensing procedures.
Mr. Pollock received his undergraduate degree in business from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and a law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
