We adhere to strict credentialing standards and regularly measure the effectiveness of our policies and procedures. We also actively encourage dentists to provide preventive services. To identify both under- and over- utilization of services, we profile providers.

The keys to DentaQuest's successful government dental programs are the recruitment and retention of providers. We realize that providers want and need to have a voice in quality policies and procedures. In DentaQuest's Quality Assurance program, the Peer Review and Advisory Committees ensure proper provider interactions and a checks-and-balances process to meet all goals.

In these committees, providers from the local and national level meet regularly and give valuable contributions to overall administration, utilization management, quality, credentialing, and profiling. Because DentaQuest offers extensive reporting capabilities and customizable information technology systems, committees have access to important real-time data.
